After all the hard work... it was time for a "Smarshmellow Party!" (Which has been happening all summer... & we have loved it... we're got Smores galore!)
How do you eat your Smore?
In my case... I am a patient roaster...marshmellows have to be just golden brown & practically falling off the stick.
Of course, there must be a good amount of Hershey's chocolate bar.
(Note: that is not my Smore... I don't do blackened marshmellows!)
After the Smore is constructed, the last step is to put it back on the fire to melt the chocolate. You know you have the perfect Smore if there is chocolate dripping everywhere!

Your backyard is looking great, I love the firepit. I had heard of an idea for s'mores...use a reeses peanut butter cup instead of chocolate. Have not tried it but it sure sounds good!
I haven't tried but not I will for sure! Thanks for sharing the idea! :)
It looks great!
I have to say I enjoy mine with a little bit of char. We're doing some roasting of our own tomorrow night. The kids always ask but I can only take so much of the pillows smelling like firepit.
Great backyard! I have fallen in love with s'mores all over again this summer! A friend of mine just had a Girls Night Out and we had gourmet s'mores. We had nutella and lots of fun other stuff! I highly recommend it and you have the backyard to have an awesome party! Miss you:)
Love your blog Darc! Emily told me about it the other day. So glad I have a way of keeping up to date with you. I just Love your cute little boys!
Love the smore nights! Thanks for letting us come over and join in on all the fun. Can't wait for the backyard to be done so we can roast marshmellows, while soaking in the hot tub!
